Mesalamine Drug Interactions

Certain medicines should be avoided when you are taking mesalamine. Drug interactions may occur if the medication is combined with digoxin or warfarin, for example. These interactions can decrease the absorption of digoxin and warfarin in your blood, which may lead to reduced effectiveness of the medicines. If mesalamine drug interactions are a concern, your healthcare provider may monitor you more closely or adjust your dosages.
