Storage Information

Natalizumab should be refrigerated, but not frozen. The vials should be protected from light. This medication must be diluted prior to use. Once it is diluted, it should be kept refrigerated, and used within eight hours. If it has been refrigerated, it should be allowed to come to room temperature before being infused.
 
Any medicine left over after a dose must be discarded. It cannot be saved for another dose.
 
Make sure to keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children and pets.
 

Is There a Generic Version?

This medication is not available in generic form (see Generic Tysabri).

Natalizumab is manufactured by Biogen Idec, Inc., for Elan Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Natalizumab comes in one strength: Natalizumab 300 mg per 15 mL single-use vials.
