Certain medications should not be taken in combination with Cimzia. For example, interactions may occur if you use anakinra or any "live" vaccinations while you are taking the Crohn's disease medicine. These drug interactions with Cimzia can increase your risk of getting an infection, and you might become infected with the virus or bacteria from the vaccine.

Cimzia Drug Interactions Explained

Abatacept
Combining abatacept with Cimzia may increase the risk of serious infections without providing any additional benefit. These medications should not be combined.
 
Anakinra (Kineret)
Taking Cimzia with anakinra can increase your risk of getting an infection. In general, these two medications should not be taken together.
