Problems With Lialda
In general, people experience a safe, effective treatment process with Lialda® (mesalamine). Problems, however, are possible, which is true with any drug. In clinical trials, the most common side effects of Lialda included headaches and gas. Potentially serious reactions are also possible, such as an allergic reaction to the drug.
If you experience any problems with Lialda during treatment -- or if something just "does not seem right" -- don't be afraid to contact your healthcare provider. Even if the symptom isn't related to the drug, your healthcare provider can likely recommend treatment.
