Humira Strengths

Humira® (adalimumab) is a prescription drug used to relieve the symptoms of several inflammatory conditions that affect the joints, spine, or digestive system. Specifically, this drug can help treat conditions such as Crohn's disease or various types of arthritis.

There are two different forms and strengths of Humira, including:

  • Humira Pen (a prefilled injection device used to automatically inject the drug): It contains 40 mg of Humira
  • Humira Prefilled Syringe (the drug must be injected manually): It contains either 20 mg or 40 mg of Humira, depending on the strength.

Before prescribing a specific dosage amount, your healthcare provider will consider several factors, such as the medical condition being treated, other medications you are taking, and other medical conditions you may have.
