Humira Drug Interactions

When other medications, such as live vaccinations, etanercept, or anakinra, are taken with Humira, drug interactions can occur. Some of these interactions can increase your risk of infections or cause you to become infected with the virus or bacteria contained in live vaccinations. If Humira drug interactions are a concern, your healthcare provider may recommend that you not take certain medications together with Humira.

An Overview of Humira Drug Interactions

o MMR vaccine (measles, mumps, rubella vaccine)
o Smallpox vaccine
o BCG vaccine (used in some countries for tuberculosis).
