Entocort Side Effects to Report

There are a number of side effects with Entocort EC that you should report to your healthcare provider. These include, but are not limited to:
 

 

    • Acne
    • Bruising easily
    • A swollen, round face
    • Swollen ankles
    • Increased hair growth (including undesired hair)
    • Fat collection at the back of the neck (a "buffalo hump")
    • Stretch marks

 

  • Signs of an allergic reaction, such as a rash, hives, itching, swelling of the mouth or throat, wheezing, or difficulty breathing.
     

Less Common Entocort Side Effects

There are other, less common Entocort EC side effects that can occur. These side effects occur in less than 5 percent of people taking Entocort EC. For these side effects, it is difficult to tell whether the side effect is caused by Entocort EC or something else.
 
These less common Entocort EC side effects include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Flu-like symptoms (such as fever and chills)
  • A general ill feeling (malaise)
  • Shakiness (tremors)
  • A spinning sensation (vertigo)
  • Hemorrhoids
  • Ear infections
  • Arthritis
  • Insomnia or drowsiness
  • Menstrual problems
  • Increased sweating.
