Crohn's disease symptoms usually include abdominal pain (or stomach pain) and chronic
diarrhea. However, other symptoms are possible, depending on the severity of the disease. A few of these other symptoms include bloating,
constipation, and a fever. Some people only have Crohn's disease symptoms now and then, while others have symptoms on a regular basis. Children with Crohn's disease have slightly different symptoms, which can include a fever of an unknown cause and unexplained weight loss in addition to diarrhea and abdominal pain. Some severe
symptoms of Crohn's disease include abdominal swelling, unusual fatigue or weakness, and a bowel movement that contains only blood clots. If you experience any of these severe symptoms, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
