Uceris Medication Information

If you have ulcerative colitis, your healthcare provider may recommend a medicine called UcerisTM (budesonide ER). Because this prescription drug is not suitable for everyone, it's important to review the safety information for this medication with your healthcare provider before starting treatment. For example, make sure your healthcare provider is aware of any other health issues you may have, such as glaucoma, diabetes, or any allergies.

Uceris comes in the form of a tablet that is taken every morning for up to eight weeks. This steroid medicine is specifically approved for use in adults, and is prescribed to help decrease inflammation and minimize flares of ulcerative colitis.
