Who Should Not Take Canasa?

You should not take Canasa if you are allergic to Canasa, mesalamine, or any inactive ingredients used in making the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients. Also, you should not take Canasa if you are allergic to salicylates (such as aspirin).
