Drug Interactions With Azathioprine

Some azathioprine drug interactions can cause an increased risk of blood clots, anemia, or low levels of white blood cells, and can make certain medications less effective. Several drugs can interact negatively with azathioprine, such as ACE inhibitors, warfarin, and aminosalicylates. If you are experiencing drug interactions, your healthcare provider may adjust your dosages or monitor you more closely.
