Who Should Not Take Asacol?

You should not take Asacol if you are allergic to Asacol, mesalamine, or any inactive ingredients used in making the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients. Also, you should not take Asacol if you are allergic to salicylate medications.
